Roshni – Safe Spaces for Children
The aim of this program is to facilitate social, emotional and cognitive development of children from marginalised communities. We do this through safe spaces in the form of regular group sessions using arts-based practices, play, logical reasoning/critical thinking activities and community library.

Children from DNT communities are at risk of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). ACEs have been proven to negatively affect social, emotional and cognitive well-being and life outcomes. We aim to create safe spaces where the effects of ACEs can be mitigated through evidence-based interventions that create the opportunity to build empathy, a language to talk about emotions and experiences, social skills to develop friendships.
